Maybe not one of your activities that Mom and Dad likes😃. However, really well written and an enjoyable read. I did enjoy reading a bit about the place and its history, perhaps on future adventures you can expand on this, ie mix in your personal experiences with a bit of

How something got started or the cultural significance, etc.

I think there is something inextricably linking nudity to sexuality. To note some of the parts of your experience, like hiking through the brush naked, are uncomfortable without clothes. There is a utility in what we wear. When you finally take those items off at the end of the day, you are in a more intimate space, such as your home. Even some of things you wrote about are sexual, such as skinny dipping in movies. The characters skinny dipping is part of rising sexual tension. Wet t-shirt scenes emit a similar mood. I do think that modern artistic takes could use some more tasteful nudity, preferably without the overreaction from particular parts of our culture.

Thanks for the thoughtful and engaging piece!

I definitely think there is something sexual/erotic about nudity just by its nature, but I think some of the other elements (lighthearted/artistic/natural) have been a bit lost from the mix. For example, skinny dipping used to be recommended for health benefits 100 years ago; not sure if that's medically backed anymore but even skinny dipping (viewed now as rising sexual tension in many situations) had a biological/medical aspect to it.

Somehow wet t-shirt scenes seem more sexual to me than just being topless.

Glad you enjoyed; figured it could be a decent topic for pondering.

I agree that they can be more sexual, in my opinion because they are teasing out what they’d be like without the shirt. Part of the chase. I do think there is artistic and tasteful nudity in the world, just not where I am looking.

I'm sure it's still out there; perhaps just not as much in the public eye.

Whenever you brought up the receptionist, I thought, are they naked too?

First time I've been surprised because someone was clothed.
